The first leg of travel will be from your hometown to Anchorage, Alaska. Your final leg is from Anchorage to Dillingham, Alaska, 350 miles southwest of Anchorage, which is served by Peninsula Air (Pen Air) and Alaska Air.
We strongly recommend that you make your flight reservations as soon as possible for a couple of reasons, cost and availability.
For your convenience, we secured a block of seats with Pen Air specifically for our guests from Anchorage to Dillingham. Please call Pen Air and tell the agent you will be visiting Alaska's Bearclaw Lodge and that you would like to purchase a reservation from one of the group blocks using the confirmation code we provide you. The roundtrip ticket for the 2008 season is $464 per person. This ticket is refundable and changeable without any fees. If you will be traveling from your hometown to Dillingham in the same day, we recommend that you have your travel agent contact Pen Air to purchase these tickets so that your luggage can be checked from your hometown to Dillingham without having to recheck your luggage in Anchorage.

Important Travel Details: Please schedule to arrive in Dillingham, Alaska on Sunday evening between 6:00 and 7:30 pm. This is when we will be at the airport to pick you up. On your departure please schedule to leave Dillingham in the morning after 10:00 am.
You will be met at the Dillingham airport by one of our staff (look for someone wearing a cap with the Bearclaw logo on it or the Bearclaw sign). After retrieving your luggage, you will be transported by our van then by covered jet boat 35 miles northwest to Alaska's Bearclaw Lodgeodge. The trip from the airport to the lodge takes about 60 minutes.
Because of our remote location, we have to schedule our pickup times to take our guests to and from the airport. If you are not able to make it during the recomended times, you may have to make arrangements to be transported to/from the lake landing. Cab service is approximately $100 one-way. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
