Between June and September our crystal clear streams and rivers abound with fish. Kings are available by mid-June through mid-July. Sockeye are available through July. Silver salmon come into the rivers in August through early September. Arctic char, grayling, Dolly Varden, and rainbow trout are available throughout the summer. And wherever salmon are spawning you’ll find rainbow trout. The chart below shows peak times for fishing a variety of the species available the the waters around Bearclaw Lodge:
